This is to certify that I have this day examined H.A. Woodcook, the Right,
I find that his ear drums, especially of the Right, are thickened & indrawn, that he has disease of the middle + Internal Ear, and that he can just distinguish the ticking of a watch with his Right Ear at 2 inches and with his Left Ear at ... inches in a quiet room.
Under these circumstances, in my opinion, he will have great difficulty distinguishing individual voices in a class. In addition, I would add that his deafness is likely to increase in the future.
